Welcome to Appetite for Wellbeing!

We’re a health and fitness centre based in East Lancashire, specialising in health conditions.

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide a high-standard, quality experience within a non-judgemental, relaxed environment. We pride ourselves in offering a space for clients to improve their health through physical, psychological and social support.

Our Experience

Since 2013, we have delivered high quality, NHS-supported services and have over 20 years of experience working in this field.

Classes

All our specialist classes are led by our experienced trained professionals. We run small groups to ensure that you get the attention you need to meet your goals. Whether that ‘s walking, strengthening up after an operation, running 5k or anything inbetween. Our class levels are denoted by the butterfly symbol. 1 butterfly – low intensity exercise, 2 butterflies – moderate intensity exercise, 3 butterflies – high intensity exercise. Check out our timetable or health page to find out more.

Private Sessions

Are you apprehensive about starting to exercise? Has your fitness been affected by Covid-19? Or do you just need an extra push of motivation? Our exercise specialists offer 1-to-1 appointments, in which we give you individual attention and progressions. This can build your confidence and give you exercise to continue at home or develop within one of our classes.

An Holistic Approach

Appetite for Wellbeing strives to offer a full holistic approach. In addition to exercise and rehabilitation classes, we have a fantastic team of practitioners offering our wellbeing therapies, including massage, reiki, mindfulness, counselling and meditation.

Payment and Membership Options

With over 20 specialist health classes to choose from a week, payment options include:

  • Pay as You Go
  • 10 Week Pass
  • Membership, which gives you additional benefits including priority access to classes and our wellbeing team.

‘We are YOUR guide to better health’

Covid 19

We are taking precautions in response to the Covid 19 pandemic. Vicky Rayson, Appetite for Wellbeing director, has completed a GTI qualification in Covid-19 Infection Prevention and Control to ensure that we have the knowledge to work safely. As ever, the health and wellbeing of our clients is our top priority, and we are doing everything we can to offer a service whilst following government advice and guidance. This is an ever-changing process so if you are a new client or returning after a break, please get in touch before attending classes.
