Core Strengthening Class
Our core strengthening class is a floor based workout to help to develop strength in your core.
We promote a slow, controlled technique to ensure you are challenging your core safely and effectively. You will use a combination of your own body weight, plus various pieces of equipment including small weights and swiss balls. This adds that extra instability to challenge your core further.
We spend some time in this class working on flexibility through stretching exercises to keep you nice and limber. This is important especially as we get a little older, as muscles become shorter and lose their elasticity.
This core strengthening class can leave you feeling much calmer and relaxed. This is due to the nature of performing slow movements whilst focusing on your breathing. Don’t be fooled though – it is a challenging class!
Classes are kept at a maximum of 6 people to ensure you get all the attention you need.
This class is at an intermediate level. So to join, you must have previous experience accessing Core/Pilates class and be able to get up and down from the floor independently. However, if you are new to this type of exercise and wish to join, one-to-ones are available to prepare you for the class.
This is a 2 butterfly class, so it’s at a moderate intensity level.
