Health conditions
Receiving a diagnosis of a health condition can result in an array of reactions and emotions. This may be a physical health condition, a mental health condition, a long-term health condition, or a lifelong condition.
Learning to live alongside this diagnosis, adapting to changes that it may bring for you, understanding what this represents to you and to making sense of others reactions may all be explored within counselling. Your own sense of identity may be affected by a diagnosis, and exploring this sense of who you are and who you want to be might be important to you at this stage.
