Bootcamp for Beginners
Bootcamp for Beginners is a 6 week course. This is ideal for those wanting to push themselves.
This class involves a standing , fairly quick paced warm-up, followed by timed exercises using your own body weight as resistance, such as squats and planks. Each exercise will have a short rest whilst I demonstrate the next set. We will then finish with a cool down and stretch which may be mat based.
As this is a beginner Bootcamp, it will be suitable if you are generally healthy but a bit out of shape. Within the exercises there will be various levels demonstrated, so you can choose how hard you want to work.
As always, our classes are kept small, so we will be monitoring and advising you throughout the sessions. And of course making sure you have correct technique to maximise the exercise.
You do need to be already active to join this class. For those of you tempted but have knee, hip issues – it is low impact – meaning it wont put additional pressure on your joints. However, you must be able to get up and down from the floor, and have NO blood pressure/heart conditions.
