Anxiety can be described as a feeling of worry or stress which can be overwhelming. Anxiety is a natural response to certain situations but when it occurs more often and appears out of proportion to the environment or situation can become problematic and unhelpful to the person. This can also prevent a person from living life as they wish to as anxiety can trap them into a way of living that they are not happy with.
