Anger

Anger can be shown in many different ways, and is often described as feeling out of control, “like a red mist”. The feeling of anger can be difficult to manage, and the expression of anger can result in more problems, whether by affecting relationships or by doing harm to others or to oneself.

For many people, there can be a lot of other feelings bound up with anger, but this can be hard to see as the anger is getting in the way. Counselling can offer an opportunity to untangle some of the complex emotions that might be involved in this, to allow a better understanding of self, which can help to reduce the frustrations and anxieties that may lead to anger.
